Besides her sure-footedness with her own songs, Berkner also nails a number of traditional tunes here, most notably "Shell Be Comin Round the Mountain," "ABCD Medley," on which she artfully melds the ABC song with "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," and "Wimoweh (The Lion Sleeps Tonight)," a gloriously kid-ified rendition of the already infectious original. Overall, this record reflects Berkners knack for stacking on the fun. Best of all, because of its standout instrumentation, parents are apt to groove along ungrudgingly, thereby setting the stage for a squabble-free shared musical experience.

My daughter and I both love this CD. We have all of Lauries CDs to date. We originally found her on Jacks Big Music Show. My three year old loves this CD because it has so many get your energy out songs, such as Dinosaurs, Doodlebugs, the Animal Fair, I Know a Chicken, The Cat Came Back and others. Lauries songs are great at teaching children, and her CDs are a wonderful mix of both fast and slow songs. Unlike some childrens singers, Laurie is one singer who I dont mind listening to over and over in the car. This particular CD of Lauries is a must have for any energy filled toddler or preschooler.

Great CD -- we heard it at storytime and my baby loved several of the songs on the CD. Its one of the few CDs for baby that I dont mind listening to 20 zillion times... which is what happens with my toddler! I even caught my picky husband singing the dino song with the baby.

My 3-year-old will listen to this over and over again - we have fun dancing to it in the house or listening to it in the car. Makes a car ride a lot more enjoyable... keep the DVDs at home and inspire your child with music.

Unleash the kid in you! Its impossible to keep yourself from singing (and stomping) along with "We are the Dinosaurs" after youve heard it a few times. We have played this CD over and over and over again for my 10-month old, and he has started a little boogie to "I Know a Chicken" when it gets to the fast parts. We are all totally addicted to this CD.

Anyone with a child under the age of 8 should have all the Laurie Berkner CDs. Her music is very creative, the kids LOVE it, and best of all it wont drive you crazy as the parent because its not obnoxious!!
