From the reggae-tinged title track to the light blues of "Drive My Car" to the irresistible tease of "Im Gonna Catch You" and at all stops in between, the 20 tracks on Laurie Berkners fourth record for kids dance off the disc and into the imagination, with a Goldilocks just-right ratio of silly ("Do the Dragon") and serious ("Im Me and Youre You"). Driving home her reputation as an Ani DiFranco for kids is the earthy "Running Down the Hill." "Shortnin Bread," the Southern traditional, will compel kids to tie on aprons and tap their way across the kitchen floor. The Hawaiian thank-you number "Mahalo" and the Eastern "Boody Boody Ya Ya Ya" draw upon world music, but otherwise, Berkners days of shaking her noodle head (a favorite dance ditty off an earlier disc) to the delight of 2-year-olds seem numbered. We love this CD. My 2 year old listens to it most every night and can sing along with all the songs. Honestly, I enjoy listening to it at work. You just cant be stressed out if youre singing "Mahalo!"

This is a cute CD and my daughter loves Lauries voice. The songs are all kid friendly and silly, like they should be for this age. I would give this as a gift for anyone under 30 who has children, works with children, or wants to be a child for a moment.

My daughter and I both love this CD. We have all of Lauries CDs to date. We originally found her on Jacks Big Music Show. My favorite song on this CD is "Smile" as I think it is a wonderful song from a parent to a child. Lauries songs are great at teaching children, and her CDs are a wonderful mix of both fast and slow songs. Unlike some childrens singers, Laurie is one singer who I dont mind listening to over and over in the car.

I was a fan of Laurie Berkner from NOGGIN and was excited to purchase one of her CDs for my 4 1/2 year old daughter and 17 month old son. Little did I know how many songs on this CD would turn out to be our "favorite". The songs are very positive and easy to sing along to. Even Mommy joins in! We listen to it in the car every day. I would highly recommend this CD for families with young children.
